Report: Nnamdi Kanu Seen At Suya Joints In Ghana

If emerging reports are any indications, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is quietly enjoying his life in Accra, Ghana.

Kanu, whose whereabouts have been indefinite since the military invaded his Aba, Abia State, home last year, is said to frequently patronise some suya joints in parts of Accra.

As exclusively reported by The Cable, the IPOB leader was recently spotted alongside his wife Uchechi in Ghana by some security agents.

Kanu is said to regularly patronise Kenzo Bar and IBG saloon in Accra.

The WHISTLER recalls that former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, had some time last year claimed that Kanu was not in custody of the Nigerian Army as against the general belief.

The ex-governor had claimed that the IPOB leader escaped from Nigeria to London through Malaysia.

“Kanu was not taken away by the military. Kanu went to Malaysia from where he travelled to the United Kingdom. Nnamdi Kanu is in London right now as we speak. He was not arrested by anybody. He left the country on his own,” adding that “One of his relations has spoken to me and explained everything because I wanted to see him and talk to him wherever he was and see how I could meet some Federal Government officials on his issue. I also wanted to see ways of talking to the President about him and find common ground but his family told me that he has left the country unless they are lying to me.”
