Saraki: Aisha Buhari Has Vindicated Me There Is A Cabal In Buhari’s Govt

Senate President Bukola Saraki says he has been vindicated by the outburst of Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, that a cabal has hijacked her husband.
Saraki in a comment tweeted by his media aide, Bamikole Omisore, on Friday morning, said though the comments are coming “months apart” it was still about “the same thing”.
According to Saraki, the fact that Mrs. Buhari could come out to openly express reservations about her husband’s appointees showed that his earlier argument that the government had been hijacked, was in good faith.

Saraki at the height of his forgery trial of the senate rules said: “However, what has become clear is that there is now a government within the government of President Buhari who have seized the apparatus of Executive powers to pursue their nefarious agenda.
“If ( my not) yielding to the nefarious agenda of a few individuals who are bent in undermining our democracy and destabilising the Federal government to satisfy their selfish interests is the alternative to losing my personal freedom, let the doors of jails be thrown open and I shall be a happy guest.”
Mrs. Buhari in an interview with the BBC, not only criticised her husband’s choices of cabinet members and heads of agencies, was miffed that her husband packed his cabinet with people he barely knew, suggesting that the government had been hijacked.
