Tinubu To Saraki, Dogara: Don’t Allow Excuses Turn You To ‘House-Of-Do-Nothing’

*Offers To Help Federal Lawmakers Do Their Jobs

National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has offered to assist lawmakers in the 8th National Assembly by way of providing them “suggestions and ideas that can foster a greater Nigeria.”

Tinubu said this on Saturday while receiving Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who led members of the Senate and house of representatives committees on the 1999 constitution review to his Lagos residence.

Tinubu urged the lawmakers to avoid excuses that may hinder their legislative duties.

“I urge you to continue to work for the unity of the nation for our diversity to be meaningful. I promise to be available to render any assistance by providing suggestions and ideas that can foster a greater Nigeria.

“Do not allow excuses turn you to the house-of-do-nothing. The country is not in a panic mode because of the way you have given effect to the executive constitutional requests,” he said.

On his part, Ekweremadu said the visit was to honour the APC chieftain as a prominent leader, adding that the lawmakers would always tap from Tinubu’s wealth of experience.
