Tompolo Shot Dead By Delta Police
The Divisional Police Officer of Enerhen, CSP Hassan Galadima, has confirmed the death of a notorious armed robber identified as Tompolo, killed by officers attached to the Divisional Headquarters in Delta State.
Tompolo was said to have met his waterloo on Sunday, April 9, after a joint patrol team of police officers and members of SEDCO Community Vigilante accosted his robbery gang.
The gang was trying to rob an unidentified woman at gun point in Dugbo Estate, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Three members of Tompolo’s gang were said to have escaped with bullet wounds, while his body was later found after he was shot.
“I’m aware of the incident. It’s not just the vigilante that killed the robber. They were on patrol with the police. We shot him and the rest escaped with bullet wounds. We recovered from them some expended and live cartridges inside the gun,” Daily Post quotes Galadima as saying.
