Trump’s ‘Peace Plan’ Recognizes Israel’s Biblical Territories, Budgets $50bn For Palestine Expansion

The United States President, Donald Trump, has announced his peace plan for “a two state” of Israel and Palestine, recognizing Jerusalem as “Israel’s undivided capital.”

He disclosed this in a joint remark with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.

He said that he would approve “50 billion dollars to Palestine” for its territorial expansion and development.

He also said that Palestine would base its capital in Eastern Jerusalem but added that it must show firm rejection of terrorism.

The plan also recognizes Israeli sovereignty over settlement blocs in the occupied West Bank, something to which the Palestinians will almost certainly object, according to Aljazeera reports.

“Peace requires compromise, but we will never allow Israel to compromise its security,” Trump said.

On his part, Netanyahu lauded Trump for the peace plan, adding that it would be the basis of negotiation with Palestine.

According to him, the plan is “a realistic path to a durable peace.”

The plan recognizes “Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan height,  rights in parts of Samaria and Judea.

But he stressed that “Palestinians need to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.”

The Trump peace plan is a Israeli–Palestinian peace proposal by the Trump Administration, intended to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
