The injured were taken to an undisclosed hospital before the arrival of the operatives of the FRSC, Anambra State Command, according to the corps’ sector education officer, SRC Florence Edor.

Meanwhile, following the federal government’s directives on the harmonisation of citizens’ data by relevant agencies, the Federal Road Safety Corps management has resolved that effective from 21 December, 2020, all applicants for the national drivers’ licences in Nigeria must present their national identification numbers issued by the National Identity Management Commission before being captured for any class of the licences.

A statement by the spokesman of the corps, Bisi Kazeem, said there would be no waiver for anyone. Bisi said the harmonised database on citizens’ information was critical in resolving the challenges of identifying individuals to assist security agencies in data collation and quick retrievals to address some of the national security challenges.
