In a statement released on Monday, January 22, 2018, the management of University of Ilorin stated that every female student in the institution must adhere to its dress code, saying erring students will be sanctioned.
Dressing decently according to the management is a reflection of individual character and personality.
The students have, however, kicked against the dress code, describing the management’s statement as “hilarious”.
Some of the undergraduates think the management’s action is accompanied by the fact that the current Vice-Chancellor of UNILORIN, Prof Sulyman Abdulkareem, came from Alhikmat, an Islamic University in Ilorin.
Below is the circular and reactions of the students
Now that Unilorin has placed ban on the use of hair attachment, will STUDENTS be more attentive in lecture halls?
Matters Arising?
