US Election: Under Pressure Trump Okays Transition To Biden But Won’t Concede

Less than two months to the inauguration of a new president on January 20, the US President, Donald Trump, on Tuesday insisted that he will never concede defeat but says the transition to the president-elect should begin.

“What does GSA being allowed to preliminarily work with the Dems have to do with continuing to pursue our various cases on what will go down as the most corrupt election in American political history? We are moving full speed ahead. Will never concede to fake ballots & ‘Dominion’,” he tweeted.

However, Trump has okayed transition process between the White House administration and President-elect Joe Biden’s campaign team following the US General Services Administration’s (GSA) recent directive that the process should begin right away.

The GSA is an independent agency of the US government that coordinates basic functions of federal agencies, including transition.

Trump had stated that he would allow the process go on but vowed that his lawsuits against Biden would continue to the end.

“I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA.

“Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!

” Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same,” he stated on Tuesday.

Biden was projected to have won the November 3 general elections, having secured 306 electoral college votes.

He has since begun the process of forming a new White House cabinet.
