VIDEO: Buhari Keeps Social Distance While Receiving Health Minister At Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, received the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, and the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekweazu, at the State House in Abuja.

President Buhari was briefed by the duo on on-going efforts by the Ministry of Health and the NCDC to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Photos and video shared on twitter by Buhari’s personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad, showed that the president maintained social distance while receiving the officials at the Presidential Villa.

Bashir shared the video and photos amid rumours that President Buhari and his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, had been flown out of the country after allegedly being being infected with the virus.

Meanwhile, Ehanire and Ihekweazu’s visit to the State House came hours after Nigeria confirmed 11 new cases of Coronavirus, which brought the country’s total confirmed cases of the virus to 81.
