What Fans Are Saying About Aki And Pawpaw’s New TV Series

Fans on Friday expressed excitement over Aki and Pawpaw new TV series titled, “Fatty and Sons Autos.”

Aki and Pawpaw, whose real names are Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedieze had on Thursday announced the new Television series.

Taking to his verified Instagram page, Osita said; “You guys asked for a TV series so here you have it. This time we’re adding Amala and Ewedu to the menu.

“The title is Fatty & Sons Autos. Where una go like watch am?”

Chinedu, also made the same post on his official Instagram page, “You want a TV series so here you have it! We’re adding zobo to the palm wine this time Fatty $ Sons Autos. What channel would you like to watch this?”

The new TV series ‘Fatty $ Sons Autos’ will feature other Nollywood stars such as Muyiwa Adegoke, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, Saeed Muhammed, among others.

Reacting to the announcement, fans were of the view that the programme would be exciting based on the interesting comic character of the duo.

The name Aki and Pawpaw became popular based on their character in a Nollywood movie titled ‘Aki na Ukwa.’

‘Aki na Ukwa’ which marked the maiden collaboration of Aki and Pawpaw, was a 2002 Nigerian family comedy film, which was directed by Amayo Uzo Philips.

Osita Iheme and Chinedu Ikedieze stirred in the movie as Aki and Pawpaw. The film ‘Aki na Ukwa’ launched the acting careers of the duo actors Osita and Chinedu.

The story involved mischievous twin brothers ruining every effort of their father at marrying another woman after their mother’s death.
