A new report by Amnesty International revealed that 15 women from Bama Hospital camp have attested to being sexually abused for food by operatives of Nigerian security forces who are supposed to be protecting them.
The organisation disclosed this in a tweet saying, “15 women from one camp alone – Bama Hospital camp – told Amnesty International that they had been coerced to have sex with soldiers or Civilian JTF officials mainly as a condition to access food to avoid starvation. #knifarwomen @amnesty #16DaysOfAction”
