The New Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Deji Adeyanju, has reacted to a statement made by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, that the party is still bitter over Ike Ekweremadu emergence as the Deputy Senate President.
Chief Oyegun who made the statement during an interview with Channels TV political correspondent, Seun Okinbaloye, had said, “the thing that rankled us most was the election of Ekweremadu as Deputy Senate President.”
He was reacting to a comment by Senator Dino Melaye that the APC should be grateful that it didn’t lose the National Assembly leadership to the PDP instead of persecuting Saraki.
However, Adeyanju in a statement via his official twitter handle, said that rather than the APC led government to be bitter about the economic crisis facing the country, they were concentrating their efforts towards the fact that PDP’s Ekweremadu emerged as deputy.
