Maina, appeared before the court for continuation of his money laundering trial, in company of the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He was extradited back to the country ( having jumped bail) following his arrest on Monday by a coordinated security team in Niger Republic.

The order for his arrest was issued by Justice Abang but his trial had continued in absentia.
