2019 Presidency: Saraki Reveals Intentions

Senate President Bukola Saraki has debunked reports that he plans to run for the 2019 presidential elections.

Recall that Dele Momodu, a veteran journalist had claimed that Saraki would be contesting the 2019 presidential elections.

According to him, Senator Ike Ekweremadu would be picked as his running mate.

But in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Yusuf Olaniyonun, Saraki described the report as false.

“The report is false. If it is true that he is contesting, you would have seen the report in major dailies since last week Saturday when the news broke out on social media. But as you can see, there is nothing like that,” Olaniyonu said.
