3 Fulani In Police Net For Armed Robbery, Kidnapping
The IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT) working in synergy with Technical Intelligence Unit (TIU) HAVE smashed and arrested three (3) members of an armed robbery and kidnap for ransom gang on Tuesday in Zaria, Kaduna State.
The gang include Nuhu Fulani, and Yahaya Muhammad and wife of the gang leader, Aisha Bature.
The police said they have been their wanted list or some time now.

A statement from the Force Headquarters said the suspects have confessed to crime, and claimed responsibility for some of the kidnappings and robberies on the Zaria- Kaduna expressway.
A fully loaded AK 47 with ammunition was recovered in the toilet of Aisha Bature, 23 years old.
The three (3) suspects confessed to the crime and explained to the Police investigators the various criminal roles they played in the commission of the various offences traced to them.
They were equally identified by some the victims. Meanwhile, investigation is being intensified to arrest the other members of the gang still at large.

All the suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of the investigation.
