A-Z Petroleum Gives Palliatives To Over 5000 Enugu Mechanics, Urges Covid-19 Safety

Members of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association, NATA, Enugu State chapter, Wednesday, received palliatives from A-Z Petroleum Products Ltd to cushion the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Speakers at the event, which held at Zik Avenue, Enugu, called on technicians and customers alike to continue to observe Covid-19 preventive measures.

The leader of the A-Z team, Mr Emeka Eziagwu, said the priority of the company was customers’ satisfaction, and commended the technicians for being good ambassadors of the company by recommending A-Z products to their customers.

Speaking also, Ejimgbe Bernard, the Enugu depot manager of the company, said, “Our management provided these palliatives to cushion the effects of the pandemic. A-Z is a standard product with solution to all engine problems. We don’t compromise standards.”

Comrade Sunday Nnaji, chairman, NATA, Enugu State chapter, said, “We are happy that A-Z provided us these palliatives. The present pandemic has adversely affected us. NATA is very happy over this. Our members cut across the whole state, numbering about 5, 000. A-Z products are of standards, and we urge them to maintain the quality.”

Clement Nnaji, a member, said, “I feel happy because of this partnership. With what they have done to us, it means they also realise that we are their partners. We have been observing Covid-19 protocols in our various shops and as an association. We thank them for providing us with nose masks, hand sanitisers and foodstuffs. They will cushion the effects immensely.”

The state secretary of the association, Mr Udekwe Benjamin, said, “By providing us with these palliatives, especially food items, we can now eat and have energy to do our work. The pandemic adversely affected us. Our customers, because of the pandemic, are no more forthcoming as before. But we pray that things would normalise soon.”

The Enugu State coordinator, Local Emergency Management Committee, Mr Emeka Oko, said, “This one is exceptional because what they brought is massive. We call on other well-meaning individuals and companies to emulate them. People have confirmed that A-Z products are very good. So, we urge them to keep it up.”

THE WHISTLER reports that the technicians were provided with hand sanitisers, bags of rice, and nose masks.
