ABUJA APC RALLY: ‘Who Will You Bank With, Buhari Or Atiku?’ Kogi Governor Asks Supporters

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has taken a dig at the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar at last leg of the APC presidential campaign rally at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

The APC governor in a brief remark at the rally made a subtle portrayal of the PDP candidate as an untrustworthy fellow who should not be elected to lead Nigeria.

While addressing the crowd, the Mr. Bello asked: “There are no banks in Nigeria. Only two banks, President Muhammadu Buhari’s bank and Atiku’s bank. And I did ask a question. If you are a banker or business man, even people from PDP, where will you bank? Buhari or Atiku’s bank? Even the thieves know that they will take their money to Buhari’s bank. We know that very well.”

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s sacrifice for the nation and prayed that God will continue to protect his life against his enemies.

“President Muhammadu Buhari, almighty Allah brought you for us. You are here performing. From the very first day you were born you have been sacrificing for this country. You sacrificed so much for the unity of this country. You served this country in various capacities and you are still serving this country in this particular capacity. And as God will have it, they thought they could take your life, God said no. God said No because of young ones like us, because of the talakawas, because of the future of this country,” he said.
