Ajimobi Fails To Deliver Polling Unit To APC

Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)..

The outgoing governor arrived the polling unit 20, ward 11 in Ibadan South West local government area, at Oluyole Community Grammar School, Oluyole, Ibadan to cast his vote in today’s gubernatorial and state house of assembly election.

He arrived the polling unit with his wife, Florence at about 1.10 pm.

The result showed that the All Progressives Congress candidate, Adebayo Adelabu, scored 112 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Seyi Makinde, scored 145 votes.

Recall that Ajimobi lost the National Assembly election to return to the Senate two weeks ago.
