Alleged Kidnap: Melaye Resurfaces From ‘Wilderness’ After 11hrs

After about 11 hours of alleged abduction, the lawmaker representing Kogi West district, Senator Dino Melaye, has regained freedom.

The lawmaker disclosed this via his Twitter handle on Friday.

Recall that there were reports that the senator, was on Thursday morning, kidnapped by unknown gunmen in the Gwagwalada area of Abuja.

Senator Melaye explained that he was “traumatized” by the “dangerous attack” but was preserved by God.

He said, “I thank God once again for escaping another dangerous attack. I also thank Nigerians for their prayers and show of Love. Spent 11 hours in the wilderness traumatized but God preserved me. God is the best and in whom ONLY I trust. They will continue to try. WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!”
