Anambra Guber: Chukwuma Soludo Wins APGA Primary Election

Former central bank governor, professor Chukwuma Soludo, has emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 6 Anambra governorship election. 

This followed Soludo’s victory in APGA’s governorship primary election on Wednesday.

The election was held at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka, the state capital. 

The former CBN governor scored 740 votes to beat his closest rival, Ezenwankwo Christopher, who polled 41 votes. 

Other candidates, Okolo Chibuzor and ThankGod Ibe scored 7 and 4 votes, respectively.
