Apostle Selman Leads Prayer Against Resurgence Of Bombings, Strange Kidnappings In Abuja

The president of the Eternity Network International, Apostle Joshua Selman, has urged Nigerians to pray for peace and security in Abuja, the country’s federal capital territory.

The cleric, during the church’s Miracle Service on Sunday in Abuja, called for prayer against the sound of mourning and death in the FCT.

He explained that God, by their prayers, would avert the appearance of “evil men” in the area.

“Listen, I’m saying it openly, pray for Abuja. I will just leave it there… we must pray that God will frustrate the counsel of darkness in the name of Jesus Christ.

“We must fortify the spiritual borders of this territory through prayer and intercession and declare that God will expose and destroy everything that does not constitute the counsel of God. Don’t say what I did not say, pray.

“But you see, God has granted us grace and He has put a burden even for the territory but if you hear me say this… please pray that there will not be resurgence of bombings and resurgence of strange kidnapping, not of ordinary people, but of political figures within the place,” he said.

Selman subsequently led the congregation in prayers for Abuja and for the entire country.

“In one minute, pray for this region and pray for your region. Don’t say it does not concern me,” he added.

He assured the people that the power of God was always be superior to the plot of the wicked.

Earlier, he admonished the congregation on the need to live for Jesus Christ and also avoid making comments and behaving in ways that tend to cause disunity amongst Christians and the church.
