The hotel which is located at Abacha Estate in Wuse Zone 4 was said to have been invaded by Burglars in the early hours of Tuesday after scaling through the fence.

Some of the items stolen were phone gadgets, internet routers and other valuables.

The FCT Police command is, however, yet to comment on the incident as a requested text message placed on the phone of its spokesperson, Daniel Ndipraya has not been replied to as of press time.

THE WHISTLER had also reached out to the Wuse Division where information revealed that the incident has been reported to the Police.

Speaking to THE WHISTLER via a text message, the Divisional Police Officer of Wuse Police Division, CSP Adamu Muazu said, “Yes, the Command is very much aware of the incident because the hint of the robbery taking place came from the Command Control itself.

“That suggest that the Newspaper firm and the Hotel have never known the GSM Line of the Division.

“Thought to notify you further a vehicle that was almost taken has to be abandoned by the miscreants on the arrival of the Patrol teams from Wuse Division”.

There has been a growing concern of insecurity in the FCT as issues of burglary, car theft, one-chance and kidnapping to mention but a few are gradually taking a toll on residents.

Over the weekend, bandits had invaded a clergyman’s residence in Pegi community, Kuje Area Council where his wife and two daughters were abducted.
