Bakassi Deep Seaport: CROSSJOF Hails Ayade Over Chinese Investors

The Cross River State Journalists Forum (CROSSJOF), Abuja chapter, has applauded Gov. Ben Ayade over his unresolved and purposeful leadership of making the state the preferred business destination in Nigeria.
The forum particularly commended the governor for his commitment to the Bakassi Deep Port which saw the governor meeting with some investors in China recently.
In a statement by the interim secretary of the CROSSJOF, Mr. Ralph Ekpang, he said; by his firm commitment to the Bakassi Deep Seaport, Ayade has demonstrated his pursuit to provide purposeful leadership to the state through his various projects; which includes the Super Highway.”

The forum stressed that the governor’s development stride has restored confidence in the people of the state on his quest to fulfil his campaign promises.
“We therefore want to assure him that whatever will make him succeed and provide dividend of democracy to our people; we will support him, but also will provide critical appraisal of his administration when he need arises.
“We urge all Cross Riverians to give the Senator Ayade-led government a chance by offering tangible advice and roadmap on how the fortune of the state can be turned around, rather than engage in constant criticisms.”
