Boko Haram Beheads Village Chief, Son In Borno

The Boko Haram terrorists, on Monday, beheaded a village chief and his son in Tallari, a community close to Chibok in the northeastern Borno State.

The ruthless attack occurred in the latest series of attacks on innocent Christian villagers in Kwamjilari village, Borno State, who were killed while returning from their Sunday church service.

The attack took place in the wee hours when the militants came to the village and brutally beheaded village chief Ba’ Lawan and his son.

According to the Associated Press, the insurgents thereafter set ablaze several homes in the village, including the village chief’s.

Abbas Gavi, spokesman of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, said that the Boko Haram terrorists also killed two villagers and injured some others when they opened fire on fleeing villagers.
