BREAKING: 459 In Lagos, 145 In FCT As Nigeria Records 1,145 COVID-19 Cases
Nigeria has recorded its highest daily cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, as 24 states recorded 1,145 infections of the dreaded virus in the last twenty-four hours.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that Lagos, FCT and Kaduna State topped the list with 459, 145 and 138 cases, respectively.
The latest figure surpassed the 930 cases recorded across the country on Wednesday, giving further indication that the country may be experiencing a second wave of the virus.
The new infections bring the country’s total number of confirmed cases to 76,207, while total discharges and deaths rose to 67,110 and 1,201, respectively.
