Breaking: Buhari Presents N8.6trn 2018 Budget To N’Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari has presented the 2018 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly.

The budget of N8.6tn for 2018, tagged budget of consolidation, was projected at an oil price of $45 per barrel and an estimate of 2.3 million barrels per day.

Capital expenditure for the 2018 Budget stands at 2.428 trillion, while 3.494 trillion is set out for recurrent expenditure.
