BREAKING: Council Announces Closure Of WASSCE Registration For Private Candidates

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced closure of registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations(WASSCE) for private candidates (second series), billed to commence from November 30.

“This is to inform all prospective candidates and stakeholders that registration for the above examination ends today, Friday, November 13, 2020.

“However, for those who have already purchased PIN, upload will continue till midnight of Sunday, November 15, 2020, after which the site for the registration of entry would be closed.

“Provision will be made for ‘Walk-In’ candidates to register 24hrs before the commencement of the paper they intend to sit,” it stated.

THE WHISTLER had earlier reported that WAEC Nigeria’s Ag. Head, Public Affairs, Demianus G. Ojijeogu had on Monday, disclosed that a new timetable for the examination would be released in due course, adding that candidates should prepare ahead.

The examination is one of the core requirements for entry into tertiary institutions.
