BREAKING: Enugu LGA Chairman Dies

The chairman of  the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State,  Patrick Omeje, is dead.

THE WHISTLER gathered that he died in the early hours of Tuesday.

According one of his aides, on condition of anonymity, “He took ill last week. He complained of malaria. Nobody expected this kind of news. We have lost a great guy. He died in  his early 40’s.”

Hon Patrick Omeke happened to be among the only three past council chairmen that were returned in the last LG polls in Enugu State.
