BREAKING: FG Waives Import Duty For Medical Supplies

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved that import duty be waived for medical equipment and supplies.

This was announced in a tweet by special assistant to the President on digital and new media, Tolu Ogunlesi, on Tuesday.

According to the move is “strengthen health infrastructure” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The approval means that tax, which is normally charged on imported medical equipment has been waived.
