The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has lifted the embargo it placed on election campaigns following its suspension of last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
Being the outcome of the meeting it held on the postponed elections this morning, INEC said political parties can resume their campaigns ahead of the elections rescheduled for February 23.
The electoral body made the development known in a statement on its official twitter handle (@inecnigeria).
