Buhari Appoints Director-General For 2019 Campaign Organization

President Muhammadu Buhari has officially named the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as the Secretary/Director-General for his 2019 re-election campaign organization.

Ameachi had filled the same position during President Buhari’s election campaign in the 2015 presidential election.

Announcing the minister’s re-appointment was the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, in a statement on Thursday.

According to Shehu, “The new Director General will announce other appointments into the campaign structure as approved by President Buhari.”
