Buhari Attends FEC From Daura As Osinbajo Presides

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently presiding over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently holidaying in his Daura hometown, Katsina State, is participating virtually in the meeting.

Attending the meeting physically are the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd), the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ecological Funds Office, Mrs. Habiba Lawal, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.

THE WHISTLER had reported that SGF Mustapha announced earlier that he was going into self-isolation after some members of his family tested positive for COVID-19.

Others who are participating in the FEC meeting are the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Minister of Works and Housing, Babtunde Fashola, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, and Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono.

Others are the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami and the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika.

The Minister of Defence, Maj.-Gen. Bashir Magashi (retd), Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abubakar, Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva and Minister of State for the Environment, Sharon Ikpeazu, are also in attendance.

Attending virtually are the Head of Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan and other ministers.
