Buhari Sweeps Votes In Jigawa

President Muhammadu Buhari has emerged victorious in the presidential election that held in Jigawa state on Saturday.

This was announced by the presidential result state collation officer, Professor Abdullahi Abdulzuru on Tuesday.

Buhari polled 794,738 to beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 289, 895.
