Champions League: Messi Faces Ronaldo As PSG Battle Manchester United In Knock-Out Stage

Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo are set to battle in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League as Paris Saint-Germain on Monday drew Manchester United.

Both teams will clash in the first knockout round of Europe’s premier club competition slated for February 15, 2022.

The draw will make the two long time rivals who have won the most Ballon d’Or face each other in another show of class.

The clash will also involve Real Madrid’s two former centre-backs in Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane who are part of PSG.

Both Ramos and Varane were Ronaldo’s team mates back in Madrid.

Elsewhere, Benfica drew Real Madrid; Villarreal vs Manchester City; Red Bull Salzburg vs Liverpool; and Inter vs Ajax.

Atletico Madrid will take on  Bayern Munich; Sporting CP vs Juventus and PSG vs Manchester United.
