Coronavirus: Osinbanjo Is Negative -Laolu Akande

The Vice President ,Yemi Osinbanjo has tested negative for the Coronavirus

This was disclosed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, on Wednesday.

According to Akande, Osinbanjo had undergone a COVID19 test and the outcome was negative.

Akande, who was reacting to enquiries by THE WHISTLER, said he had received several calls from Nigerians over the status of the vice president.

Recall that Osinbanjo had put himself in isolation in compliance with protocols of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

As of Wednesday, March 25, Nigeria’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 had risen to 46, with two of the cases now negative after recovering from the virus.
