Covid-19: Lagos Discharges Indian, 36 Others

No fewer than 358 patients undergoing treatment for Coronavirus at isolation facilities in Lagos State have been discharged.

This is after another batch of 37 patients were discharged on Wednesday.

The state health ministry made this known via series of tweets.

According to the tweets, the discharged 37 COVID-19 patients were 19 females and 18 males, including a foreign national; an Indian.

“The patients, 5 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 25 from Onikan and 7 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) Isolation Centres were discharged today having fully recovered and tested negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive test readings.” The tweet read

The state governor Babajide Sanwo -olu, however said the rising number of those discharged In state was an indication that while the number of confirmed cases is rising, the state was also maintaining a significant discharge rate of active cases.
