Covid-19: NCDC Says 981 Patients Dead So Far As Country Records 410 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has said that 981 covid-19 patients have died so far.

The agency made this known in a tweet on Tuesday where it disclosed that 410 new cases were recorded in the country.

The centre noted that the confirmed covid-19 cases in the country climbed to 49,895 with 410 fresh infections recorded on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it also stated that over 37,051 recoveries had been recorded.

However, the NCDC updates showed that the bulk of the infections were in Lagos which has 210 cases and FCT with 45 infections.

Others include Ondo-30,Plateau-21,Edo-19,Ogun-16,Oyo-13,Nasarawa-12,Bauchi-11,Enugu-10,Kwara-7,Kaduna-6,Anambra-4,Ebonyi-3,Abia-2 and Rivers-1.

NCDC has maintained that everyone should adhere to the public health advisory on covid-19, as a preventive measure.
