Covid-19: UN Wishes Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Quick Recovery
The United Nations (UN) has wished Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, speedy recovery from the Coronavirus.
Onyeama, had on Sunday, announced that his covid-19 test result returned positive.

He is among the high profile covid-19 cases in the country, and his office had among other things, evacuated numerous stranded Nigerians in the diaspora.

Furthermore, he has been one of the speakers at the weekly covid-19 Presidential Taskforce briefings.
Edward Kallon, UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, expressed optimism that Onyeama would regain his health.
“On behalf of the @UN_Nigeria, I wish the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, #Nigeria, @GeoffreyOnyeama a quick recovery,” he tweeted on Monday.
