Cultists Shot Dead As Rival Groups Clash In Osogbo
Two rival cults groups clashed on Friday in Osogbo, capital of Osun State.
A 35-year-old man identified as Lekan Babalola was reportedly shot dead during the clash which happened at Asoje area of Osogbo.

The two rival cult groups were said to have engaged in supremacy fight on Friday afternoon when one of the members of another group shot the man dead.
The incident caused panic in in the area as residents and traders fled until normalcy returned.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the Osun Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
The PPRO said, ” Lekan Babalola’s corpse has been deposited in Osun State University Teaching Hospital’s mortuary Osogbo.

” We are trailing the cultists and we will bring them to justice. Cultism is not allowed here in Osun State and the police will make the state uninhabitable for them “
