Dino’s Apprehension, ‘A Routine Assignment’, Says Immigration

Sunday James, Public Relations Officer to the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), has confirmed the latest arrest of Senator Dino Melaye, lawmaker representing Kogi West at the National Assembly.

James speaking to newsmen described the arrest as a ”routine assignment” when asked the reason behind the senator’s arrest.

Recall the lawmaker was arrested on Monday by the police on his way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Government.
