Don’t Give Offering In My Church, If… – Adeboye
The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned his members not to give offering if they are not in right standing with God.
He gave this warning at the opening of the annual Holy Ghost Congress with the theme, “Floodgates of Heaven” at the Redemption Camp, in Lagos.
The pastor said that anyone who is still living in sin and gives offering in church is wasting his/her time.

He said: “From today, if you are not sure of your salvation, don’t ever give when it is time for offerings in RCCG.”
In addition, the 73-year old said that the reason why the church, in spite of its wealth, still collects offering from members is in order to get them out of poverty as they are investing in heaven.
The message has also been posted on the pastor’s Twitter handle.
The annual congress which is in its 18th edition is a week-long event.
