DSS Storms NFF Secretariat, Eject Chris Giwa

Operatives of the Department of State (DSS), on Monday, stormed the premises of the Nigeria Football Federation secretariat to eject Chris Giwa, factional NFF President.

As reported by The Cable, Giwa and others who occupied the complex on July 2 were asked out of the premises immediately.

According to reports, the DSS opratives said they were working on instructions from above.

The development may not be unconnected to the instruction given by the football governing body, FIFA, which threatened to ban the country if the leadership tussle in the NFF is not resolved and Amaju Pinnick reinstated as NFF president.
