Edo Poll: Obaseki, Wife Vote

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has arrived his polling unit at Unit 19, ward 4, Oredo local government area of the state to cast his vote in the governorship election in the state.

Obaseki arrived at the polling unit at 11:15am, with his wife, Betsy.

He is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His major challenger is Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor and his wife, had earlier, after washing their hands, joined the queue to cast their votes.

He is seeking re-election for the second term in office

The governor had on Friday, said God should make him lose the election if it will cost the blood of any citizen of the state.
