When the preliminary panel concluded its investigation, they sent their findings to the University Management, which led the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee to invite him to hear his side of the story.

But in a statement issued by the head, EKSU Directorate of Information, Bode Olofinmuagun, on Friday,  the accused lecturer,Olaleye Aduwo, admitted to the allegations and findings contained in a preliminary report  by a panel.

Bode said the University Governing Council, at its 135th meeting held on 5th December, 2019 approved the Committee’s (Academic) recommendation for his dismissal.

He added that the university “would not condone any act of misconduct and that the University would continue to flush out bad eggs in the system.”
