Ekweremadu Explodes, ‘I’ve Never Taken Photo With APC Chairman’

Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has reacted to a photo of him with the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, suggesting that he may have finally crossed over to the ruling party.

Prior to emergence of the photo which is currently trending on social media, Senator Ekweredu was alleged to be plotting to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC because he allegedly feels cheated by the opposition party.

Daily Sun had reported that the Deputy Senate President was negotiating his defection with some APC stalwarts because he “was not happy with the way he was used and dumped by the PDP.”

But Ekweremadu reacted angrily to the photo of him with the APC Chairman which appeared to give credence to his rumoured planned defection.

“I’ve never taken a picture with Oshiomhole before,” an angry Ekweremadu responded to an inquiry sent to him by THE WHISTLER.

Meanwhile, the initial report on the Deputy Senate President’s rumoured planned defection had said “Ekweremadu’s defection is just in a matter of days”.
