EndSARS: Delete This, Fool, Wizkid Slams Reekado Banks For Promoting Song During Protest

Nigerian Singer, Ayodeji Balogun AKA Wizkid, has slammed Reekado Banks, calling him a fool for planning to release an old song they both did together, amidst #EndSARS protests.

According to the Singer, this is not the right time to release songs, due to the ongoing #EndSARS protests in the country.

Wizkid had on Tuesday postponed the release of his highly-anticipated album, ‘Made In Lagos’, due to the state of unrest in the country.

Reekado, on the other hand, shared a tweet announcing the planned release of a song he did with Wizkid to night.

He wrote: “Out of control, gbedu must drop. This one with my brother @wizkidayo “OMO OLOMO” midnight dropping. Still on the matter !!! #EndSWAT #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality”

Wizkid who perceived the action would be a distraction to the protesters, blasted Reekado, in a now deleted tweet, claiming it’s not the right time to release songs.

Wizkid wrote : “Delete this dude ! Can’t believe you’re even doing this at a time like this. Old song ! #endsars fool!”
