Fayose Names ‘Saint Looters’ In Buhari’s Government

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has asked why the Muhammadu Buhari government deliberately left those he described as “saint looters” out of the recently released list of alleged treasury looters.

Governor Fayose asked whether those indicted of corruption by the Buhari administration have suddenly been baptised and made clean by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor advised the present government to stop seeking ways to divert the public’s attention from its alleged failures.

He urged the Buhari administration to rather tell Nigerians what it has achieved since assuming power three years ago.

Tweeting in the early hours of Saturday, Fayose asked: “What happened to the NHIS Boss, Yusuf (sacked for fraud and reinstated by Buhari), Maina (the pension thief), NNPC boss, Baru ($25bn contract scam), Abba Kyari (N500m MTN scam) and others. Are they Saint Looters?

“Surprisingly, name of PDP Chairman, Uche Secondus (N200m) is on Lai Mohammed clownish “looters” lists, that of Diezani that they claimed to have traced N47.2bn and $487.5m to was missing.Did FG lie against Diezani ab-initio or she is now Baptized into APC comity of Saint Looters?

“The APC Federal Government should rather tell Nigerians its achievements in almost three years in office and stop running after members of opposition both within the APC and in the PDP,” he said.

The WHISTLER recalls that the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, had in a statement on Friday named amongst others the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus,  as of the nation’s treasury looters.

The government accused Secondus of illegally receiving N200 million from the office of the then National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki.
