FG’s Call For Nnamdi Kanu’s Re-Arrest ‘Dangerous, Pregnant With Mischief’

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has described Federal Government’s order for the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu as a “reckless and dangerous” decision.

Recall that Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Justice Minister, Abubakar Malami, had in a statement on Friday ordered the revocation of Kanu`s bail.

AGF Malami had also ordered the re-arrest and detention of Kanu, who is leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

But Fani-Kayode, in reaction on Saturday, warned the government against re-arresting the IPOB leader.

“Calling for the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu is a reckless and dangerous course which is fraught with implications and pregnant with mischief,“ said the former minister in a tweet.
