George Floyd: Trump Deploys Army Across U.S, May Impose 7pm Curfew If Disruptions Continue

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has now ordered the deployment of soldiers across the U.S. to stop the disruptions going on following the death of George Floyd.

This is coming even as buildings, properties, including a police station, Lincoln and World War 2 Memorial and a church were destroyed this week,while a police officer was killed.

Trump, in an address from the White House on Tuesday, said he may impose a 7pm curfew if the looting and destruction fail to stop.

He also advised every governor and mayor to release National Guards or he would take it up from them.

He added that thousands of military personnel were already in the country’s capital, Washington DC.

“I am mobilizing all available federal resources, civilian and military, to stop rioting and looting, to end the destruction.

“If a city or state refuses to take actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them,” he said.

Trump stressed that domestic terror was a crime against humanity and that America needed healing not hatred, justice not chaos.

“We cannot allow the righteous cries of peaceful protesters to be drowned out by an angry mob,” he said, adding that many state had failed to stop the disruptions.

“I am taking these actions today to reaffirm resolve and with a true and passionate love for our country, by far our great days lie ahead,”
