Gunmen Abduct Nasarawa Assembly APC Member

Honourable Ismai Danbaba APC House member in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Nasarawa Central State Constituency has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The member was kidnapped while traveling to Jos, plateau state on Saturday evening to attend a workshop for Nasarawa State legislators.

Confirming the incident to newsmen in Lafia, chairman of the House committee on information, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, said the operation took place at the forest in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

He said Danbaba was heading to the forest area when the kidnappers ambushed him and whisked him away.

Omadefu who is member representing Keana constituency (APC) told newsmen that the abducted legislator had made contact with the House but yet to demand any sum.
